Dolls House - Lower Hall

[Lower Hall]

The 6 panelled front door opens into the Lower Hallway. The floor is made to look like pine planking. There are two mahogany doors leading to the Kitchen and the Dining Room respectively. The stairs rise to a half landing and then turn 90 degrees and continue up to the Upper Hallway. The staircase is made from mahogany. The staircase is not permanently fixed, and can be removed to give better access to the hallways for redecorating if required. Moulded skirting surrounds the walls and a moulded cove surrounds the ceiling, the walls are papered. There is a brass double candle chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
